Communion and Young Children (3yrs and younger)
« on: October 05, 2008, 10:26:33 PM »
I looked and didn't see any topics on this so made one, hope you don't mind! :)

I'm writing to say today was successful with getting my girls Athanasia and Stephanie(Sahara) to receive Communion finally! They received both 'parts' too and didn't spit out at all! Sahara hasn't received any at all since her first time when she was Baptised back in July this year. This is  Athanasia's first time to receive both 'parts' (sorry don't know how else to put that). My girls are 3yrs and 4months old (Athanasia) and 1 yr and 10months old (Sahara/Stephanie). I'm just so very happy that they finally went willingly! I received first and then they followed after me.

Happily in Christ,
Mary(Cecilia)

Congratulations!  I hope that someday I will know the joy of my whole family receiving the body of the Lord together.

Thanks :) it is a great feeling to have your children receive with you! I love that my Athanasia goes to Church school now too, there's just a few children in her class but at least she is able to meet others in her age group in Church!

Congratulations!  It does feel like a momentous occasion, doesn't it?  (And it is, too.)  :)

Wonderful news!

It is always rewarding to help the little ones receive the Lord!

This calls for a party here in the Burgh, I think.  :)

Congratulations!
