Young woman with bone cancer
« on: September 24, 2008, 03:28:23 PM »
Friends,

Please remember in your prayers MICHELLE, a dear friend of one of my co-workers, whose bone cancer has returned.  She is allergic to the chemotherapy and the process nearly killed her last time and she has decided to not go through it again.  It is quite a bit for someone so young (22 y.o) to handle.

Lord, have mercy!

May the good Lord have mercy on her, help her and give her strength.
Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.

Prayers, Lord have mercy...

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

Lord, have mercy.
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.
