I'm the Teen SOYO (Syrian Orthodox Youth Organization) advisor at my church. One of our teens, who, I grant, has had a very troubled life and a lot of problems has decided to run away from home. He's been gone for three days now. None of us know where he is. We hope he is safe and that he returns soon. Please pray for his safety and for his return home.

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.
