Investigating the OCA
« on: September 11, 2008, 01:05:06 AM »
Just wondering which fictional detectives would do the best job investigating the OCA and obtaining the best results (e.g. convictions, return of stolen money, et al.).  Use the Police NYPD on TV website as a reference.   ;)

I voted for NYPD Blue because there was an Orthodox character, ADA Sylvia Kostis and I could see Det. Sipowicz staring down Robert Kondratick in the interrogation room....

I choose L&O-CI because they seem to have the best conviction rate and as of late the only cops who are not corrupt or emotionally disturb.

^ At least you took the Sylvia Kostis statement a step further and I didn't even think about Kim Delaney/Jimmy Smits or even David Caruso/Amy Brennenan (sp?).   ;)

I went with Kojack, since Telly Savalas was Orthodox. IIRC correctley the character was also, and even reffered to it a couple of times

Law and Order- Criminal Intent no doubt. With Det. Robert Goren staring down across from the other side of the interrogation room would make any one break.

LOL!  Umm... Law and Order puts me to sleep immediately, so I'm going with Kojak as well.  Mostlyl because I like to say the name "Telly Savalas."

I'd say the X-Files. There's something supernatural going on, perhaps demonic possession.
