I humbly request your prayers, friends. Yesterday I had my gallbladder removed and all has gone fairly well so far except that I had to sleep sitting up and therefore got little rest last night and I'm in a bit of discomfort this morning despite being on pain meds. Thanks for you prayers and may God have mercy on us all.

Lord have mercy! My best friend had hers removed when it ruptured. Other than a problem with some pain when she has too many hotdogs she is fine now

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more. A hasty quarrel kindles fire, and urgent strife sheds blood. If you blow on a spark, it will glow; if you spit on it, it will be put out; and both come out of your mouth

Lord have mercy! My best friend had hers removed when it ruptured. Other than a problem with some pain when she has too many hotdogs she is fine now My presbytera had hers removed after her stones complicated into pancreatitis, so I was keen to get it out before anything more serious happened. Glad to hear your friend made it through!

Other than a problem with some pain when she has too many hotdogs she is fine now In the last few weeks before my recent surgery it was hot dogs and other such fatty meats that actually triggered my painful gallstone attacks. I'm more than happy to have that problem behind me now, and I'm sure EofK and Mr. Y must be just as glad for her sake. Glory to God that EofK no longer needs to deal with the pain of these attacks, and may the Lord grant her the grace to recover quickly from her surgery.

I'm doing ok so far... still pretty sore and the high-powered pain meds knock me for a loop but otherwise I'm feeling better. Just taking it easy for the next week.
