New Job with DD
« on: July 11, 2008, 11:36:06 PM »
Hi - Two weeks ago I started training for a new coordinator's position at a community based, day program for developmentally disabled individuals. I'm a little overwhelmed at this point since this is a very new population for me. (I'm used to working with youth offenders, so this is a big jump)

Please pray that I am a good servant to the 'least of these' in our society and that my sins do not hinder my work.

In Christ

Lord, have mercy on your servant.
I believe in One God, maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible.

Lord, have mercy!
As a result of a thousand million years of evolution, the universe is becoming conscious of itself, able to understand something of its past history and its possible future.

Thank you, but I'm far from deserving any respect for this since I think it sort of chose me. I'm also unsure as to how long I will be able to last ...

Lord have mercy. And I echo Heorhij's sentiments.

Lord have mercy on and strengthen your servant!
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.
