My Son Aidan... :-)

After Vespers last night I sat down with Fr. David for a very long talk about where I am in my journey. We also talked about my wife and my little daughter and where they are. I ask for prayers for me and my family to have unity and trust in one another and in Our Lord and Saviour to light our way.
I would also like to ask for prayers for my Father James who recently was diagnosed with the early stages of macular degeneration (sp?). He is starting to lose his sight. My father is a good God-fearing man but not Orthodox. Still I ask for your prayers for him.
Thank you and God Bless.

My brother has macular degeneration. There is a "wet" kind and a "dry" kind, one is much faster than the other. Do you now which he has?
My brother has had MD as long as we can remember, he was extremely premature and had oxygen poisoning. If your father has the time or inclination, I highly reccommend that he learn braille. Almost everywhere has braille now, and it can help tremendously at ATM's and other places.
I will pray for you and yours.
Lord have mercy!
