My step aunt has been arrested and faces some serious jail time. She is a complete nutcase, and I literally haven't seen her in years. She is absolutely guilty of what she is charged with, and there is no denying it. So there isn't any way she will be aquitted. She is 64, and I hope she won't spend the rest of her life in jail. But I really hope that she gets the help she needs, because she is absolutely bonkers.
I just found out and I am in complete shock. Honestly I am really angry with her, I shouldn't be---what she did has no direct bearing on me other than that I am an animal lover. Irregardless, her brother (my step father) and her sister are really worried about the outcome of this case. So prayer for the entire Lawson family would be great. I have never been so happy to have a married name in my life.
Her name is Judith.

It hasn't made the news, but she apparently has been released and has "a really good lawyer" and "a rich boyfriend." She isn't on the list of inmates at any of the prisons in our state anymore, so I can only assume she has been released. I pray she has true remorse and doesn't make any excuses.
