Beautiful icons in that church. That is amazing. Here are a few pictures from the Church of the Nativity in Erie that has the entire wall covered in icons just like the church in Romania. It has very beautiful icons, I would love to go there one day. Photos were taken by the Flickr user "A Whistling Train".

Churches like these really make me aware of the participation of Heaven in the Liturgy.

Churches like these really make me aware of the participation of Heaven in the Liturgy.
Just as long as 150 people (or less) meets the Fire Safety Occupancy limit. And then you take Heaven on the other side of the highway by spending another 4 million on a secluded urban neighborhood when the Property Values goes down. If you can't fit a large Greek community to celebrate a Patron Saints Day then whats the use of celebrating liturgy if half the people that donate it to can't even fit in? The Cathedral spaces are just too small. Would a Stadium-sized cathedral work as sacred space?

Lovely churches, although I always feel a bit overwhelmed when there's so much to look at.

Beautiful! Only word I can think of to describe what I see in those photos. It's also great to see what appears to be a packed house!

Nürnberg, also known as Nuremberg, is in Germany, not Romania. It is the seat of a Romanian bishop though. If you want to see more pictures of Orthodox churches in Germany, I recommend this site (pages 1 to 6): http://www.rbenninghaus.de/orthodox-churches-monasteries.htm
