Found the wallet today! Thank you for the prayers. Since I am no longer near a church, can someone bake a Phanourios cake for me in thanks for the intercessions of St Phanourios? I still need job prayers however please.

Would you please tell about this cake? I've not heard of it before. St. Phanourios was a martyred Saint whose history was lost for centuries until a frescoe of his Icon was found by chance, so he became the Patron Saint of those searching for lost articles. The custom developed of preparing a special cake called Phanouropita ("Phanourious' Cake") in thanksgiving if a lost article was found. The cake is taken to Church to be blessed then cut and distributed to the worshippers after the Liturgy. There are many different recipes, but for some unknown reason, the recipe must use nine different ingredients.

Well tentatively, I have a job in Pueblo, Colorado, starting Monday as a manager in training at a furniture store, as long as I pass the in-depth background checks. Also, pending passing the background tests, I have another restaurant in Aurora, Colorado that would be willing to hire me to be their manager in August. So I thank everyone for their prayers and ask prayers that my background checks prove positive impressions on these potential future employers.
And thank you again George for offering to bake the cake for me on this upcoming Sunday which is both my 35th birthday and Father's Day, a very special day for me! :-)

Again thank you! I start tomorrow at the furniture store, but the first 2 weeks are pending background check approval. But all these things have made today a very special day for me. It is a rare thing that my birthday and Father's Day fall on the same day, and so my 35th birthday is an even more special event this year!
