...because they know not what lies ahead of them!
Some of you may know this, but I ask for the prayers of all due to the following:
1. Today is my last day as the assistant priest of the Orthodox Cathedral in Birmingham, AL.
2. Effective tomorrow, I will be the priest at the Holy Trinity-St John the Theologian parish in Jackson, MS.
Please pray for the spiritual benefit of the people of my new parish: that the Lord will shine His face towards them, and that they will be patient with themselves and their new priest.
On a personal note, please also pray that my family finds a place to live that will be the proper balance for all 6 members of my family, so that the interests of God, our family, and their desires as individuals may all work together and achieve fruition in our new home.

May God Bless you! A lot of family live in Mississippi, mostly down around McComb, and you'll find it to be a very warm and welcoming place. Next time we are down to visit I'll drive up for a Vespers and Liturgy. Not too many Orthodox churches down around McComb!
