New priest returns to Ben Lomond for ordination
On Sunday, June 29, His Grace Bishop Joseph ordained Deacon Noah Bushelli to the Holy Priesthood at the Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church in Ben Lomond.

The Rev. Bushelli’s family has lived in the San Lorenzo Valley since 1977. Growing up in Ben Lomond, he began attending the Orthodox Church in 1993 and was baptized and chrismated into the church in 1994.

After receiving a bachelor’s from the University of Alaska in Anchorage, Bushelli, his wife Elizabeth and their son, Julian, returned to Ben Lomond in 2000 where he earned his teaching credential.

He taught at Louise Van Meter Elementary School in Los Gatos for the remainder of the 2000-2001 school year. From there, he moved his family to Scarsdale, New York, where he began a three-year course of studies at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, working on a Master of Divinity degree.

In 2002, Bushelli was ordained to the diaconate at St. George Church in Little Falls, New Jersey. It was decided that his ordination would take place in his hometown.

The chosen weekend was also the annual celebration of the Feast Day of St. Peter and Paul, the patron saints of the local parish.

Bushelli and his family have now returned to New York where he will complete his first year of seminary training.

Upon his graduation in May, 2004, he will be assigned as a parish priest in the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America.

Bushelli and his family have now returned to New York where he will complete his first year of seminary training.

Should this actually say "his last year"?  Or did I miss something in the article?  From the article, it seemed to me like he transferred to SVS in September of 2001.

He was here last year with us so I imagine that the upcoming year is his last.
