Another heart attack
« on: April 24, 2008, 04:11:37 PM »
Apparently it doesn't pay to know me this week :P

Please remember in your prayers the servant of God KENNETH, one of my brother's best friends, who had a heart last night at the age of 40.  His father died at that same age of a heart attack some 30 years ago.

Lord, have mercy!

Lord, have mercy! So young! What's his cholesterol and LDL levels? Maybe he needs to take Lipitor?

Lord, have mercy.
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.

Prayers...

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

O Christ, Who alone art our Defender: Visit and heal Thy suffering servant Keneth, delivering him from sickness and grievous pains. Raise him up that he may sing to Thee and praise Thee without ceasing, through the prayers of the Theotokos, O Thou Who alone lovest mankind.
Domine Iesu Christe, Fili Dei, miserere mei, peccatricis.
