I usually use Firefox (and it was updated yesterday as well) and sometimes it doesn't like oc.net. Some times it loads slow, or just continually loads. Sometimes it loads but a page comes up in code. It does other things.
Is this me, firefox or the forum software? That's why I'm writing this, all evening it has been giving me problems with firefox and I just switched to the internet explorer... which doesn't give me the same issues with oc.net.

I've been having the same trouble for the last few days, so I've tried the Evil Empires IE and the problem doesn't occur, which is strange because OCnet is supposed to be optomized for Firefox.

Hmmm, don't jynx yourself wynd!!! George and I seem to have the same issues with this, and we're a day's plane ride apart. Is microsoft that powerful........... hold on while I lock my doors before posting that  |

Ah, that's probably it!
I wish I wasn't so lazy and would get on with installing Linux!
It never hurts to try. If you've never used it I recommend any of the Ubuntus. Btw, love your icon  |

i prefer i e 7 or 6 never used the firefox browser ,,whats so special about it,, enquiring mind wants to know..., also what about the apple browser for windows is it good or bad browser.........stanislav

I use Firefox 2 at work with Win 2000, IE 7 at home because of *grumble grumble* Vista *grumble grumble*, and Opera on my Nintendo with WOS 3. OC.net has never given me trouble on IE or Opera, but occasionally has loaded as code only on Firefox.

I use Windows XP with Firefox, but I've never had a problem in the few years I've been here (log on regularly on 4 machines).

I am not sure about any browser specific issues, but slow loading at times seems to be related to content being loaded from other, non-OC.net servers such as off-site image servers.
