St. John of San Francisco
« on: July 02, 2003, 08:56:17 AM »
I noticed that for today's events on the OC.Net forum it says: "St. John of San Francisco," "St. John of Shanghai," and "St. John Maximovitch II."  All three of these Saints named John are ONE AND THE SAME PERSON, i.e., St. John [Maximovitch] the Wonderworker and Fool-for-Christ, Archbishop of Shanghai and San Francisco, *NOT* three different Saints.  How did St. John of San Francisco get *triple* billing  ??? when, let's say, on June 29 such notables as the Holy Glorious and All-praised Apostles Peter and Paul only received a *single* billing?  ???  What does one do to get triple billing for one's favorite or important Saint(s) on the OC.Net forum calendar?  Or is this one of those calendar glitches?

Actually, I think special dates can be entered by anyone into the calendar.  Perhaps more than one person entered Saint John?  I know I added Saints Peter and Paul on the 29th, since that was among the Syrian calendar dates I entered.
How this relates to the coming Antichrist? I don't know...

For adding Saint John for the FOURTH time unnecessarily, I condemn Nik.  Anathema sit!  :P

Speaking of St. John of SF....apparantly I gave my biography of his (the one produced by St. Hernan's in Platina) to someoone and never got it back. I would like to buy another book about him...can someone recommend the "best" version (I understand that after the Platina  version, some others came out that I don't know about)?

When I click on one of the first three listings on the home page I am taken to a thread "Adam and Eve" surely that is not right.
