Welcome to the forum, Unique!

I have never been to Egypt, but perhaps one of our Coptic members who have travelled there have been to that monastery.

i've been there twice...
"One nature out of two, a holy divinity, co-essential with the Father, an incorruptible.

A Holy humanity, begotten without seed, coessential with us, according to the economy."

been there once looong ago, but I remember little about it now.
Vain existence can never exist, for "unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain." (Psalm 127)

If the faith is unchanged and rock solid, then the gates of Hades never prevailed in the end.

I've been there a few times; my last trip there was just over a year ago. I had the rare and most blessed opportunity to sit with Abouna Fanous in his very cell (something only a handful of people could ever claim to have done) but i'm not too sure how much I am allowed to say in regard to that particular experience. Anyway, what exactly is your question?
