Welcome to the forum, Unique!

I have never been to Egypt, but perhaps one of our Coptic members who have travelled there have been to that monastery.

I've been there a few times; my last trip there was just over a year ago. I had the rare and most blessed opportunity to sit with Abouna Fanous in his very cell (something only a handful of people could ever claim to have done) but i'm not too sure how much I am allowed to say in regard to that particular experience. Anyway, what exactly is your question?
