Chrismation date set

I spoke with my pastor tonight and he will be receiving me into the Orthodox Church on August 10th the feast of St. Lawrence the Greatmartyr. I very much look forward to this and thank you all for your  prayers.

Whooo! Congrats!!!!

But what happened? I thought the Priest was not very welcoming when you inquired?

Same questions: What happened with the priest whom you initially perceived as unwelcoming?  And through which parish and jurisdiction will you be entering into the Orthodox Church?
