Dear brothers and sisters,
By the providence and mercy of God--at least I do my best to see it that way--a certain tragedy has befallen me just before the Great Lent. I say 'by the providence and mercy of God' because it is one that has in a sense forced me to pursue a resurgence in my spiritual life right before a period in the calendar of the Church designed to assist just that. I will be absent from this forum (good news for many of you i'm sure!) until I recover, or at least till Resurrection Sunday. Until then, I wish you all a blessed fast, and I ask you to please ask God to have mercy on me during this time, to look past my sins, as many and persistent as they may be, and to guide me by His counsel.

Lord have mercy!
God be with you brother. I will miss your posts here. I personally get a lot of benefit from your inputs here.
I will also miss the beneficial quotes you provide for the forum from the OO fathers, as I enjoy them very much as well.
Remember me in your prayers as well.
