Visited the Freedom Center in Indianapolis yesterday.  They take homeless vets off the street and house them for 6-9 months.  The goal at the end of their stay is for the men to have a job, a place to go live, and are clean and sober.  There success rate is 50% (the norm is anywhere from 7% to 20% for most addiction programs) and they are faith based.  I've been asked to come perform and speak every month and the first group went very well.  Please pray for the men and an organization like this that is so needed.  They only have 22 beds and are the only group of it's kind in Indiana, so you can imagine how much more of this is needed around the country.  Wouldn't it be nice to have an Orthodox center similar to this.  Imagine men going through an intense 6-9 month training program that includes the daily Orthodox spiritual life.

Pray for the freedom center! thanks

Lord, have mercy!

As a result of a thousand million years of evolution, the universe is becoming conscious of itself, able to understand something of its past history and its possible future.

An old timer is a man who's had a lot of interesting experiences -- some of them true.

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

Lord, have mercy.

I believe in One God, maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible.
