A while ago, I wrote about Nicole P., a student of biology who enlisted in the US Armed forces in May 2007 and is currently serving in the Middle East (Kuwait and Iraq). She grew up Methodist but converted to Orthodoxy in 2005; her Orthodox baptismal name is Barbara.
Please, pray again for Nicole (Barbara). She is alive and well, but I have recently received an e-mail and a bunch of pictures from her, indicating that she is currently associated with a modernist rock-music playing Pentecostal group. She says she is not sure whether she really is Orthodox, feels like she needs some time to decide, where exactly does she belong.

A small update. Thank you all for your prayers. Unfortunately, it seems that Nicole-Barbara left the Orthodox Church. She came to Columbus, MS (where my university is) for a short visit, and told me that she had made up her mind to return to "Charismatic Christianity." She is now associated with this "Aquas de Vida" charismatic group, mostly under the influence and direction of her fellow US Army soldiers. Also, she decided against our university and has a plan to enroll in an evangelical or charismatic Bible college some time later.
