Woo-hoo.  Party in Cleveland!
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.

Where is he going to be the Bishop of? Will he be replacing the recently reposed Bishop on the West Coast? From the press release it seems like his consecration has been in the works for some time now.

Most likely, yes. But the relocation seems to be not immediate. There was a plan that he will remain in South Bound Brook for some time and continue his current activities. While the situation really improved from 10-15 years ago, UOC has a shortage of clergy. And Fr. Daniel does a lot of work as the Editor-in-Cheif of Ukrainian Orthodox Word, as the Dean of Students of Saint Sophia Seminary, as the Director of the Office of Public Relations and as a supply priest.
The Western Diocese of UOC includes a huge area. Exact information about states is here:

Only states, where we have parishes are listed. Well, an amendment to the list. Oklahoma and New Mexico should be added.

Actually, Fr. Daniel demonstrated excellent service. Very friendly and attentive to people. He has done many extraordinary things for the Church.
