I met with a man this morning who I'd met visiting the local jail. He's struggling with crack addiction, alchoholism, and the guilt that his 6-year old was molested while he was in jail. Luckily the girl was taken out of the abusing mother's home. And he wants to kill himself. Please pray for him and me as I try to help him and talk him into getting professional help.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. Also please pray for all the victims of incest and sexual abuse. You would not believe how much of that goes on in society now. My mom is a family counselor in a town of about 25,000 and her schedule is filled 4 days a week with sexually abused children, it's her speciality. The most horrific acts imaginable. The ease that people can get demented images has opened up a pandoras box of sickness. Every week i go in a prison and every time I ask who was a victim of some kind of abuse as a child. Every time over 90% of the men raise their hand. With over 7 million people in our legal system from probation to jail to prison, etc., think of the implications of that for them and their children. As you read this a child somewhere is being sexually abused by a parent and friends smoking crack. Somewhere a child is being beaten or left alone. Please include these victims in your prayer life. And please vow as a Christian to do something to help them. Donate money to a shelter, write an inmate in a prison, get down on your knees and pray from them everyday. Please act. Anyone who spends time on here posting and reading has time to do something. Thank you again.
