I don't think there is a way to do that, but let's wait and see what Robert says when he sees this thread...

It ink you can go into your profile and 'ignore' messages from individuals.
If you w nt to ignore all PMs...just don't open up your 'Message' screen.

Click Profile > Account Related Settings Then check "Hide email address from public?". I believe you will always see your own email in your profile, even if you set it to hide it from everyone else.

also when i view my profile,i can see my email address Follow Friul's instructions re: hiding your email. However, you will always be able to see your email address: if it's hidden, it will appear in italics. If it's not, it will appear non-italicized. As for Personal Messages: you can ignore individual users, turn off your PM email notification, and turn off the pop-up notification. But you can't totally shut off your PM system, unless you chose to "ignore" each person individually.

at the moment, yes.... But you should ask a non-moderator that question, because I can see everyone's emails.

What search engine or browser are you using? That doesn't happen with me, and I have Firefox.

r u signed in?...
firefox........although i just realised those address's i can see are from people who appear not to have hidden their address...because i can see it on their profile page....
im still checking though......
the posts without the envolope ...are they the people who have indeed hidden their address..?
in my 'profile' email address it is in italic ,so as was said it must be hidden ,then why do i still have the envelope.?
hey non-moderators ,do u see an envelope on my left and does it show my address?
...........

Perhaps this topic deserves a sticky....we get asked this question a lot.
1) If you mark your email address as HIDDEN in your profile, it is HIDDEN to everyone except yourself and the the moderator staff. It will appear italicized in your profile, but rest assured, only admins, mods, and yourself can see it.
2) To ignore IMs: You can go into your profile, click on "Personal Message Options", and put a "*" in the Ignorelist. This will effectively "turn off" all PMs (except for system generated messages), but it will still appear on your screen.

No, you'll receive system generated messages, Mod messages, and Admin messages.
