No, you're just going insane. Then that makes two of us fit for the nut house. "Hee, hee! Ho, ho! Hey, hey! They're coming to take me away!"

Yea, cosmetic changes were employed. Please feel free to comment about it; if the board doesn't like it, I'll gladly revert back to what it was.

I think the new format is great! Rather than simply listing recent posts, it lists recent topics which is much better IMHO. In the old system, when two or more posters got into a debate, the "recent posts" would only show that one thread for hours on end, and it meant that other recent topics were easily lost. Please keep the new system!

The only thing I could suggest about this is the ability to see how many new posts there have been in each subject since last viewing, so I could see from the main page which are recent "hot topics." That was quite clear in the old system, but is not as clear in this one, since only the most recent post in each topic is listed.
Still, it looks far less cluttered and gives far more information from the main page, both of which are big pluses as far as I'm concerned.

Yes. I noted that. As the old format was not realtime anyway, I don't see the new as worse.

I love the new system. If Mr Y's suggestion is doable, that would be the only tweak I would suggest.

While we are 'tweaking' the interface, it would be nice to alphabetize the "Users Logged on Today" section.

I actually like the time-based arrangement.... Sometimes it's useful for me, when looking at a dialogue in a thread or an argument that is brewing, to see when various parties have last logged in, to see if they've seen the recent arguments or not.

If the new version were realtime and without delay, I'd agree; but it is/was not.

Thanks much for the suggestions. As always, keep them coming. I can't promise I'll be super fast in implementing them...but they will get implemented!
