The Divine Mercy

« on: January 24, 2008, 08:43:15 PM »

I am looking for book recommendations on books detailing the French and Indian War as a whole and also the first campaign led by (then) Lt. Colonel George Washington ending at Fort Necessity.

I am looking for scholarly, academic works and not popular tellings or historical fiction.

Please only respond with titles you know personally and can recommend to me - I can go on Google and come up with a list of titles, but that doesn't tell me how good they are.

Thanks in advance.

Through the intercession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, may Jesus Christ bless you abundantly.

Pray that we may be one, as Christ and His Father are one. (John 17:20ff)
