Confirmed in Faith
« on: January 21, 2008, 07:03:25 PM »
Hello,

Are you confirmed in your faith? I am not merely speaking of having received the Sacrament of Confirmation (Mystery of Chrismation) - but that you are convicted by the Holy Spirit in the faith. By what means do you become confirmed? Do you find that this was a one time deal - or do you daily grow more and more confirmed in the faith?
Through the intercession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, may Jesus Christ bless you abundantly.

Pray that we may be one, as Christ and His Father are one. (John 17:20ff)

Hello,

For me, I am a Catholic in the Latin Church. I find that every day, the more I study the faith, the more I am confirmed. I daily become more convicted in my Catholic faith. The more I read the Church Fathers, documents from Rome, lives of the Saints, etc. - the more I become confirmed in my faith. I simply know that it is true and I become so convicted that I would rather stand with the martyrs than deny it.
Through the intercession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, may Jesus Christ bless you abundantly.

Pray that we may be one, as Christ and His Father are one. (John 17:20ff)
