I am doing research on Ethiopian Timkat (Baptism of the Lord/Epiphany)  I attended Timkat in Gondar (January 2008).  I am looking for English translations of the hymns that were sung as the tabots were being carried through the streets and at the all-night vigil, as well as an English translation of the rite for The Blessing of the Waters; also the appointed Scripture readings for the Epiphany Liturgy and the Blessing of the Waters.  I have a 1901 translation of the Coptic Blessing of the Waters, but I don't know how close that is to the Ethiopian rite which I experienced in Gondar.  Can anyone help me?  Thank you!

This is all I have on the subject of Ethiopian Epiphany:

It doesn't really answer your questions, though.  Perhaps if you contact the people who put up the website, they can help you.
