Hello, Better to lose all your stars than to lose all your marbles. I wonder if this has anything to do with the new titles? Though I still have all my stars - curious.

Hello, Better to lose all your stars than to lose all your marbles. heheheh. I dunno. There are times when I wonder about where all my marbles have gone too. Then again with three kids it's likely that *they* took them. I wonder if this has anything to do with the new titles? Though I still have all my stars - curious.
I was wondering about that, too

OC net presents "Star Lost", a ecumenical group that disappears while viewing a meteor shower from a high mesa on the border of Arizona and New Mexico...

Perhaps this may explain the mystery of the lost stars: Forum members,
With great joy, I have the privilege to announce to all who read this message that, in response to requests to have OC.net posting titles beyond that of Archon, we have implemented a new and expanded system to keep up with our frequent posters!
LEVEL # POSTS NEEDED
Newbie 0 Jr. Member 25 Member 100 Sr. Member 450 Elder 1000 High Elder 1500 OC.net guru 2000 Archon 2500 Protokentarchos - 3500 Merarches - 4500 Taxiarches - 5500 Hoplitarches - 6500 Stratopedarches - 8000 Protostrator - 9500 Protospatharios - 11000 Tourmarches - 12500 Hypatos - 14000 Strategos - 16000 Domestikos tou thematos - 18000 Domestikos ton Scholon - 20000 Megas Domestikos - 22500 Exarchos - 26000
This new system has already taken effect, and already it has had an effect: several of our posters have titles beyond that of Archon!
Long live OC.net, as 2008 starts yet another record breaking year!

ah. Thank you, OzGeorge. The stars were used as a trade-in to get the new title, maybe? Ebor

Suddenly the thought went through my head "Stars are like Green Stamps." That dates me, I suspect. So I have to collect more postings to trade in. Ebor

When the new titles were added, no stars/colors were assigned to them other than the default one yellow star. We're working on a new star/symbol system.
