Great Aunt Near Death
« on: January 07, 2008, 09:48:16 PM »
Of your charity, please pray for my beloved great aunt Mildred.

She was taken to hospital late yesterday evening. She has hypotension (very low blood pressure) and hasn't been able to hold down food or drink for several days. She is no longer able to recognise anybody.

It is thought she may not make make it through the night. He condition is now very grave.

My great aunt is a dear lady. She was like a second mother when I was younger. She is just shy of 96 years of age.

St Mildred (Abbess) of Mnster, pray for Aunt Mildred.

Lord, have mercy and, in Your loving kindness, give comfort and peace to Your handmaiden, Mildred, and help her to make ready to be received into a place where there is neither pain nor suffering, but only life eternal.

Christ is Born! Glorify Him!

My family and I would like to thank every one for their prayers.

I just spoke to my mother who is with my great aunt at the hospital. She did manage to make it through the night. However, she went to sleep after taking some medication this morning, and has yet to wake up. It seems it may just be a matter of time.  :'( :'( :'(

Please, of your charity continue the prayers from my aunt Mildred.

Here is some info on her patron Saint:

Christ Is Risen!

Of your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of my great aunt Mildred. She passed away a few hours ago. She was just short of her 96th year.

May the memory of the Lord's handmaiden, Mildred, be eternal and may her soul be at peace in a place of light and love, where there is neither weeping nor sighing, but life everlasting.
