I mentioned this last night on the "what are you listening to" thread, but then I thought this group ought to have it's own thread just so folks find out about them.
I was looking for vids of The Chieftians and next to one of them doing "The Star of the County Down" with Van Morrison was another group doing the same song with the name "Orthodox Celts". Well, I had to find out what that was about, and clicked it.

good with a prime fiddler. The lead singer has a fine folk voice; it's very interesting hearing an Irish song in English where the Serbian gentleman is (to my ear) trying for some Irish pronunciation but with of his native vowel sounds making for a very intriguing dialect. He does some step dancing,too, with "The Rocky Road to Dublin"
