Philosophical/Christian themes in Babylon 5
« on: December 11, 2007, 06:34:07 PM »
For all of you sci-fi nerds and geeks out there (like myself), I've been rewatching season 4 of the Babylon 5 series and I have always been fascinated with the Christian and philosophical themes that are present throughout this great and thought provoking series.  If anyone is interested in some discussion of these issues, let's do so here.  Just an idea.
Hey, I don't hand out 9.5s to just anyone!  ;D

Okay.  I dont really see it, because aside from a mention once of Judaism, and some alein religious practices, I don't see the significance.  Enlighten me!

It's been so long since I've watched B5 that I'd have to watch it over again to be of any use in this discussion. And unfortunately my budget cannot bear the price of buying the entire series. Well, in truth, I cannot afford a single season! However, I'd be quite interested in seeing such a discussion!

If you can bear the time (~18 hours/season), the county library has all five seasons, plus all the movies.

It's sure be a project! Maybe I will, though. Thanks for the tip! :)
