Does anyone out there have the 2d ed of SJKP's Menaion?  I've seen what HTM's Menaion looks like (VERY impressive) but have never seen what the new one from St John of Kronstadt Press looks like.  If I had a grand to drop, I'd definitely get HTM's, but SJKP's can be bought individually which is very attractive to my wallet at this time.

Personally......

I have the HTM Menaion.  But that's only because we use it in my parish, and we not only sing Byzantine Chant but we also sing the prosomia.   For my purposes it's invaluable.   

It's a nice set of books.  If it were affordable I'd recommend it to everyone.   But if you don't/don't plan to sing Byzantine chant every week I'd go with other options.
