Does anyone know where specifically / who this music comes from? It is little pieces of the Liturgy in Slavonic, first the Trisagion, then shifts to the "priidite, poklonimsya i pripadem ko Hristu"...etc. but it almost sounds like a different choir when it shifts. The third part I can hear the priest a little, and he sounds familiar. Anyone know this particular arrangement? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wujZiZ3ZRXU&feature=relatedActually I just listened again, and after the 'let us fall down and worship Christ, there is a Slava Ottsu i Sinu i Svyatomu Duhu... but the accent sounds really different from other Slavonic I've heard. What area is this from? |

A solemn Divine Liturgy with Russian patriarch Kiryll in a female monastery in Ekatinburg. I love chants of these nuns (some Russian znamienny chant, some Russian 'Greek' chant and some byzantine parts) so I'm very glad that official canal of the Moscow Patriarchate put full Liturgy from this monastery done in Paschal Period. Fortunately, the commentator is talking quite rarely. And what's more, this new church of the monastery is very nice (I appreciate especially the frescoes).
