« on: December 01, 2007, 05:20:38 AM »
Reportedly, Archbishop Christodoulos of Athens and All Greece has taken a turn for the worse and is experiencing breathing difficulties and significant pain.

Lord have mercy on His Grace.
"Not only is it unnecessary to adopt the customs of the Latin Rite to manifest one's Catholicism, it is an offense against the unity of the Church."

- Melkite Archbishop Joseph (Tawil), of blessed memory

Lord, have mercy.
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.

Lord, have mercy.

Archbishop Christodoulos was transferred to "Alexandra" Hospital after 8:00 in the morning in order to be submitted to tomography and blood tests. According to information, Mr. Christodoulos will not be hospitalized. During the last days his doctors are in alert as his health has been aggravated which may has been caused by the intravenous treatment he is being submitted to.
