HP and Crospon have announced a new way to inject medications without causing any pain. Rumour has it they got the idea from Q.

Thiis technology can only work for medications which can be delivered subcutaneously.
There are some medications (including most antibiotics) which cause tissue necrosis if injected subcutaneously, and therefore must be delivered slowly and directly into the bloodstream (intravenously). The microneedles on this patch would not enter a vein, and therefore cannot deliver IV medications.

Interesting. So I named the thread wrong. Oh well. Could be used for immunizations, then?

Yes, it could be used for immunizations, and it could also be used to deliver anything which the body naturally produces (such as hormones and neurotransmitters) as well as any drug which can be delivered subcutaneously.
