Holy Father Patrick, pray for us

A lot of Avatars are just a little bit too wide and have that annoying sliding bar at the bottom.

Here's how to fix that with the help of Image Shack.

Go to http://img114.imageshack.us/

Put in the URL for your desired avatar, or use an image stored on your computer.

Check "Resize Image" and set it to Avatar size

MAKE SURE you also check "remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail?"

From that point on it should be smooth sailing.....

Thanks, Irish.

It really works!  See left.

On another forum that I post on, I used the same avatar
and it automatically sized it to avatar.

Maybe they can do that here.

Anyway, everyone should have not-to-big avatars in
a perfect e-world.

BTW, who is that saint pictured in your avatar?  He looks an awful lot like my patron and namesake on this forum.

Done.  The forum will now automatically resize it at avatar depth (100x75)

Thanks,
Robert

It's St. Artemis.  He was a good Russian boy who was struck by lightening, which in his village apparently meant that he was cursed.  But his bones helped to heal people, and they quickly changed their minds.

What I like about the story is he was to the world a very ordinary individual, but to God he was beloved.

Thanks for asking.

Robert,

Your auto avatar sizer has gone a little loopy...it is shrinking off site avatars smaller then you set it at.
