I would like your opinions about the Hemlock Society's explanation (Why Hemlock as a Name and Symbol?) for its chosen name. A local newspaper in my town had an article about the Hemlock Society, prompting my inquiry.

This society is an advocacy group for euthanasia and other 'death with dignity' causes. I believe they are supporters of doctor-assisted suicide.  The article gives some history about hemlock. I am sure they have a website that you can visit.
