I have no idea how he gets away with it...That's probably THE most ridiculous attempt at a religion I have ever heard of.

*le sigh* And that's one reason why people don't take Christians seriously. (Note, I only said "one" reason - we do give them many many more, most of them more legitimate than this.)

Possible candidates? Is this some sort of election? No, I see it is singular "candidate"--I know I will not be joining this guy... Oh, and by the way, "you will know them by their fruits..." Ironically, I don't think this man believes in "fruits!" "There is no devil, no sin, the chosen can do whatever they want..." Yeah, I think he (lower case 'h' for this false christ) speaks for himself...Pray for those who are following him and his blasphemy!

So does Jesus! It will mean nothing if there name is associated with the number (possibly) but I'm not to be taken as authority on scripture especially on a book that is so ambiguous.

Don't forget Reagan.
I was wondering when someone would mention his name. Ronald Wilson ReaganCount the letters in each name: 6. Three names of 6 letters each = 666. Does it mean anything? Well, consider that Mr. Reagan is now dead and can no longer defend himself.

You're not understanding something...
We're not doubting that the Antichrist will be coming, or may be one of those four people.
We're pointing out that the list may be incomplete.

We're pointing out that the list may be incomplete. Indeed. There is one of the candidates that should be on that list (but I won't reveal her name, so we don't cross the politics line); where's Donald Trump? Bill Gates? The founder of Starb... (er, the coffee shop that shall remain nameless)? Where are the bears (#1 terror threat)?

I'm not sure if that makes him more dangerous or less.

*sigh* I had a feeling it was going to be about this guy. I've seen about him on the news before. It's sad really. He could be the Antichrist, but who knows, I personally think the Antichrist is the Iranian president since he wants to vaporize everyone to establish an worldwide Islamic empire.
Lord have mercy.

Speaking of, seen this yowza? The Rev. Michael Massaro says he has a few aches and pains, but a good night’s sleep has done him some good as he recovers from being attacked Saturday with a knife in a confessional at his church.
It was one of the most harrowing weekends in the 28 years he’s been a Roman Catholic priest, Massaro said. But it won’t stop him from hearing confessions.
"We’re at the mercy of the people we serve," Massaro told CNN. "We can’t live in fear. God has asked us to live in trust. If it’s going to happen again, it’s going to happen again, but that’s not going to prevent me from doing God’s work."
Massaro had just finished hearing confessions in his Florida church when he was stabbed twice in the back by a woman who later told police Massaro is the Antichrist. Source: http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/04/29/florida.priest.stabbed/index.html

No, but, and I quote, "surrender your serpent seed"? Is life imitating CSI again? Is this guy actually leading some kill the space alien cult? hmm... If you know any Filipino-Americans, they might actually know of Him. Churches like the Iglesia ni Kristo (Church of Christ), The Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name above Every Name, and the "Ang Dating Daan" (The Old Path), are three of the largest Filipino made forms of Christianity, that has spread throughout the world right now. As for the serpent seed thing, that guy believes that Human Free Will is naturally sinful, therefore practicing human free will is going against God. He proclaims that in order to fulfill the Will of the Father, the world must go under his leadership and rule, as the "Appointed Son of God".. He even said that Jesus Christ is the Messiah of the "Jewish Setting", while He is the person to complete the reign of the Kingdom. He even considers listening to secular music as something corrupting.
