According to this article, Russell Crowe is going to be baptised in the consecrated Byzantine chapel he built on his ranch.  I'm wondering, is the chapel Byzantine by the style of architecture or is Russell going Orthodox?

the article says the chapel was inspired from visits to Paris and Rome.  The exterior and interior, to me, are reminiscent of the baptistries across from the main churches of town (the ones at Pisa and Florence come to mind).  HOwever, the conspicuous lack of any icons really doesn't lend any creedence that Crowe is "swimming the Bosporus or the Volga."

LOL... yes, swimming the Bosporus made me laugh.  I noticed the lack of icons as well.  Hm... one can hope, I suppose.
