OCA Proceedings
« on: October 17, 2007, 09:39:54 AM »
I know the proceedings started yesterday--our Abp +DMITRI called for a special day of fasting and prayer--but they go on through tomorrow, iirc, so join w/me, if you would:

O Lord Jesus Christ, kindle the hearts of all thy priests and bishops with the fire of zealous love for thee, that they may ever seek thy glory.  Give them strength that they may labor unceasingly in thine earthly vineyard for the salvation of our souls and the glory of thine all-honorable and majestic Name: of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: now and ever, and unto ages of ages.  Amen.

Amen.  Lord, have mercy.
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.
