I've found out today that after many painful years my aunt and uncle in Greece have found out their beautiful 7 year old girl has been diagnosed with autism. Please pray that they are able to cope with this physical,mental and spiritual stress that they are currently under and pray for the little one so that she can grow to the extent that God has already willed of her.

Somehow, some way, this will work out to the good, as this child will help others in working out their salvation. I pray I find out somehow the good that this situation produces!

My prayers are certainly with your family. My nephew has autism and my brother and sister-in-law do struggle at times, but the boy has certainly enriched their lives. May the good Lord help your aunt and uncle's lives to be enriched as well.

Lord have Mercy! I have a daughter on the very severe end of the autistic spectrum. I know this grief, but these days MANY children that are diagnosed with Autism lead very productive lives. There are many interventions now that are promising, and no matter what our children have we need to learn to meet them wherever they are. Every day...  Rebecca |

rebecca my heart burns for your situation and I cannot even begin to understand it and I pray that the intervention you speak of helps. The doctors kept on putting off diagnosis blaming her language difficulty on various things but now she is 6 years old and finally the doctors have given her the diagnosis! hopefully everything can still work to His plan.
