Lord have mercy
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.

Holy Unmercinaries and Wonderworkers, visit our infirmities. Freely you have received, freely give unto us.
If you're living a happy life as a Christian, you're doing something wrong.

So far, the preliminary word is that this young lady underwent her operation with no serious complications and is on the path to full recovery.  I'll have more word to you when I find out more; I'm sure my priest will make a general announcement to the parish this weekend.
