Depression, loss... related to my recent discovery that the Synod of Milan is not Orthodox. Thank you.

Lord have mercy! Is there a canonical Orthodox church near you?

Thank you, all! Nyssa, yes, it's a GOA mission in ~50 miles from where we live. You know the rest of the story from another forum. (Can't advertise it here. )

I completely understand. I've been there and done that. Thank God I'm in Canonical Orthodoxy now.
My advice is go to the nearest real OC immediately. Talk to the priest, and see what he says. And then, begin afresh keeping what you have learned near you. Whatever you do, dont give up. Look to God. He will lead you.
Senor, ten piedad de Tus siervos, especialmente Tu siervo Jorge, quien esta danado.

I think spiritual depression has to be most painful. You've been hurt by God's imperfect and deluded people, but he is still there for you and his true Church remains. Have hope and peace.

On the spiritual path somewhere between the Simpsons and St. Theophan the Recluse, but I still can't see the Springfield city limits sign yet.
