Akathist to St. John Chrysostom - HELP!
« on: September 25, 2007, 08:35:42 AM »
Dear all,

I am really in a time crunch to find the Akathist to St. John Chrysostom.

Preferably if you have it in Greek or English, but i'm willing to settle for other languages at this point.  I need it as soon as possible.  Any help with this would be amazing.

Thank you all in advance.
I got nothing.
I forgot the maps
March 27th and May 30th 2010 were my Ordination dates, please forgive everything before that

Did you check in the chapel at school?  In the file cabinets and the big cabinet there are a lot of supplemental materials like that.
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.

Is this for the symposium starting Friday in St. Louis?  If so, I'll be there with the St. John (Maximovitch) Men's choir.

I already checked.  Believe it or not, we have nothing at the school SPECIFICALLY for St. John.  We have tons of stuff for the 3 hierarchs...nothing for Chrysostom.  Can you believe it?

Unfortunately not.  This is for the OISM conference at Holy Cross in November.  If any of you are in the area and would like to attend...let me know.

Thank you all for your responses!  If anyone has a copy in Greek that would be great...
