Broadcasts of services with Archbishop Christodoulos
« on: August 29, 2007, 01:16:27 PM »
His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta recently hosted a Paraklesis Service at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the health of His Beatitude Archbishop Christodoulos of Athens and All Greece. Many Orthodox clergy and laity from South Florida came to pray for His Beatitude and for those who are suffering because of the devastating fires in Greece.

After the service, His Beatitude delivered a moving message, which will be available on Orthodox Christian Network's Web site (www.myocn.net) in both video and audio format. There will be a written translation of the homily available and, depending on technical issues, subtitles.

Futhermore, His Beatitude Archbishop Christodoulos, His Excellency Archbishop Theoklitos and Archdeacon Anthimos will celebrate the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy this Sunday at St. Demetrios Church. This service will be broadcast live on www.myocn.net at 10 a.m. EST.

A full video and audio file of His Beautitude's homily at the Paraklesis is now available, complete with subtitles:

(The subtitles don't really catch everything, but they'll give you the idea.)
