Hearing someone complain today about their toxic work environment created by bully bosses got me to thinking how this outspoken, strong-willed soul that I am would respond. An old country song came to mind: Take This Job and Shove It!

Nice choices! Especially Etta. I sing a little and i love to sing her songs. Listening to some of them is so relaxing -- that one in particular. I haven't responded to all of your comments in other threads because, well there's just so much to respond to, but thanks for them. You're almost always right on point. #smiles

Alanis Morissette - Head Over Feet Makes me queasy whenever I listen to this because I've been on the other end of this kind of confession and it is super awkward. But I love it anyway.

Did you mean to write Gregorian? Cos that seems like a typo. Gregorian chant is pretty low on the totem pole. The best? Not as long as Coptic, Syriac, Byzantine, Ethiopian, Armenian, Indian, Mozarabic, or even more Byzantine-influenced Latin chant remains known...though I suppose if all of those go away, then yes, Gregorian chant would win by default. Though I'd still prefer Gaelic psalmody...

An instrument "invented" by Dr. Peter Schickele (a.k.a. P. D. Q. Bach)... He called it a tromboon. Replace a trombone mouthpiece with the mouthpiece of a bassoon, and voila! You get an instrument that's very loud and comically obnoxious. He used the hybrid instrument in a couple of his many crazy musical works. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tromboon#Tromboon

The guitar wobbly effects distract from the song and he uses a lot of half-rhymes (line and time), good otherwise.
