I was listening to Inxs's album "Switch" on my ipod while working out at the gym. I was curious to see if Inxs had anything new coming up and checked online. I was shocked to find they fired their new singer. I am begining to wonder if this will be the end of them. Check out the interview with J.D Fortune.....he is broke and living out of his trick now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ3QTuYGZjQ&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fprofile.php%3Fid%3D1545309892%26ref%3Dprofile&feature=player_embedded

A few years ago, someone introduced me to an ensemble called Savae. They did some great work. I believe their versions of ancient music are also historically accurate. Peace - Andrew

Agreed! I rarely watch a show avidly, but this one and Lost I find enthralling to the last minute. We watch nearly all the pilots, but most of the time we're very disappointed, and never watch a second episode. The only new show we watched this past season was Kings, starring Ian McShane, which set the story of King David in the modern world. Excellently done, and I'm sorry to see it's been cancelled.

I don't keep up with most of the Big 3 network shows anymore, but I discovered Big Bang Theory through an online article ( http://www.slate.com/id/2210635?nav=wp) about Sheldon and Aspergers. Ever since then I've been watching. I have two seasons to make up for, so I don't mind the reruns--they're all new to me. Sheldon is an extreme case, but I identify with him in some things; I'm also used to hanging around geeks and gamers. So it's just as fun to watch this show as it is to read Dork Tower comics.

Every once in a while (but not often) something from the Pop world catches my attention. So here's a cool "Poppy" tune that I really enjoy. I have no idea what the song or the video is about, but it's got a nice groove. It's one of those songs that makes me pick up my guitar and play along. I'm not sure which link works best, so you may need to try them both. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtUI5MC9tVM www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUzL1rfzJD8 (This one might be a bit racy, but the other one wouldn't work on my computer.)
