She might also like their "Octopuss's Garden". It appeals to the kid in all of us.

I've been listening to Waylon Jennings lately. Y'all will probably remember him from The Dukes of Hazzard's theme song "Good 'Ol Boys" (how 'bout that Daisy Duke, huh fellers?) and also as the narrator from the show. I've had Good Hearted Woman with Willie Nelson and friends playing. Great song. Waylon passed back in '02 or '03 I believe. Lord have mercy on that 'good 'ol boy'...

I know this might sound funny but, I kinda liked this song (though I probably couldn't handle too much of this type of music). Reminds me of "The Cure" and "Nine Inch Nails". Betcha' never thought a small town country boy would say that!

Enya's latest CD (released earlier this month): And Winter Came...
Like every one of her CD's, this too has an overarching theme, that being (for this CD) winter, with some music devoted to Christmas.

I like that CD, To Hell With the Devil. It's a bit soft for metal, but it has some good ballads on it.

I'm listening to some early Deliverance. Christian metal, a bit simplistic, especially on the first album (which I actually prefer), but definitely listenable if you like metal. Found a couple Youtube vids from their first album... VictoryJehovah JirehBlood of the CovenantAnd one from their second album... Weapons of Our Warfare

Speaking of the killers, I just read in the latest Rolling Stone magazine that Brandon Flowers (the killers singer) is a devout Mormon. For some reason, this creeped me out. I guess the Mormons have the Osmans, Napoleon Dynamite and the killers as a claim to fame.

I don't think any of those people are particularly talented so maybe that says something about the creative talent of the Mormon pool.

Speaking of the killers, I just read in the latest Rolling Stone magazine
Mistake #1: Reading Rolling Stone. that Brandon Flowers (the killers singer) is a devout Mormon.
Mistake #2: "killers" should be written "Killers'." For some reason, this creeped me out.
Mistake #3: Paying attention to celebrities' religion. I guess the Mormons have the Osmans, Napoleon Dynamite and the killers as a claim to fame. Mistake #4: Their name is the Osmonds. So why be so judgmental of others?
