Apparently it's Gypsy/Punk music (which caused a strong negative reaction from my Romanian gilrfriend, which in turn, prompted me to download it as a ringtone ). The music is definately Arabesque. If I were to guess why, I would say it's either because she likes it or it's because of the Ottoman empire which itself was an amalgam of Arab/Persian influences. Musically speaking. |
