A bit suprised on how Metal-ish this sounds.

This is a song about the French king Henri IV, but in a later version made by Tchaikovsky.  Very fitting for a king!

Your description piqued my interest so I just gave it a listen, and the combination of the C16th song with Tchaikovsky's C19th Romantic Russian grandeur somehow sounds a little funny but I really liked it :) Great choice ;)

Mikko Joensuu - Thief and a Liar
https://play.google.com/music/m/T354n3ylmjnrhgw6errlrucvog4?t=Thief_and_a_Liar_-_Mikko_Joensuu

The artist left Pentecostalism and made a whole Gospel-ish album about the process. One of the most distressing albums I've heard.

Lawn mowers.

Let me guess: this is a hipster indie core-abilly band, which plays up a kitschy 1960s vibe in the art work and marketing, but who have songs about things like lawn mowers in the suburbs becoming sentient and turning into serial killers because "death" (of plants) is all they've ever known and all they've ever been used for?

I'll commentate on my impish post.   I genuinely like what the channel is doing.  It's interesting, fun, and a fine exercise both for people who like making music and those who like listening.  However, I think many of the songs end up long for the sake of being long, and I think while many (if not all) of the people are quite talented from a technical standpoint, the only truly inspired performer is Puddles.

I'm with the camp of 13 million Americans that believe politicians are, or are controlled by, Reptilians. I think only monks can solve this problem. It doesn't seem right that they prefer to ignore it.

Listening to Siouxsie & the Banshees in earnest for the first time since high school. An amazing band. Currently playing "Into the Light."

Getting ready for a youth event which sometimes features heterodox jamz by listening to Johnny Kemp's "Just Got Paid", Levert's "Casanova", and Cameo's "Candy".  If any aging servants bust out their corny pop "praise & worship" music, I'm blasting my equally dated equally pop playlist at top volume.  It would edify the people and glorify God to precisely the same extent, which is to say not at all.  I might even bust out the Patty Duke to Junior's "Mama Used to Say".  That'll learn 'em.  ;)

"Mouth make trouble, mouth make no trouble." - Sun Tzu

"Guard your steps as you go to the house of God and draw near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools; for they do not know they are doing evil. Do not be hasty in word or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few." - Ecclesiastes (NASB)
